PowerWAVE ELMOD Series

The PowerWAVE EL Modular Series is an emergency lighting Inverter that can be configured between 4 – 24kVA with incremental steps of 4kVA power. Designed with high fault clearance capability and operation with high inrush light fittings. The adaptability of the ELMOD system provides three modes of operation as standard and the ability to convert from single phase input to three phase input without modification.


Trusted, self-contained battery unit providing energy power commonly applied to commercial lighting, fire alarms and medical systems in 3 hour autonomies.

Output configurable to three modes of operation; changeover, inverter and non-maintained.

Effortless repair and maintenance

Low MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) is achieved with all electronic components in modular format and complete front access for maintenance, with hot-swap power module. 1/1 and 3/1 configuration is available via display.

Strong Communication

Multiple communication options including RS232, RS485, dry contacts, TCP/IP Adapter for local and remote communication.


Battery discharge management, auto-transfer between floating and equal charging, temperature compensation.

Overload protection

Engineered with capability up to 125% – 175% overload, meeting European EN 50171 standards for standby emergency lighting.
