Kohler Uninterruptible Power Ireland, originally formed as Pure Power Systems, became part of KUP in 2017 and has built a strong presence in Ireland and Northern Ireland from its facilities in Dublin and Limerick.

Paving the way in power protection innovation
2003
Pure Power Systems, a dedicated UPS sales & service company with offices in Dublin and Limerick was founded by Ian Jackson. Built up a team of highly experienced & directly employed team of UPS service engineers. Became exclusive distributors of ABB UPS.
2017
KOHLER acquires Pure Power Systems, UPSL’s long-time partner and distributor in Ireland.
2018
KOHLER Co. announces a multi-season deal to sponsor UK premiership football club Manchester United. The club’s first sleeve sponsor and there at the formation of the MU women’s team, the partnership is founded on shared values and is set to raise the profile of the KOHLER name around the globe.
2019
The UK, Singapore and Ireland companies of Uninterruptible Power Supplies Limited (UPSL) harmonise branding and change name to become KOHLER Uninterruptible Power. This emphasises links and shared capabilities with the KOHLER Power Group, which includes the world’s third largest generator manufacturer.
2020
KOHLER Power, a division of KOHLER Co. celebrates its centenary in power products on 16th February 2020.
2022
KOHLER Uninterruptible Power (KUP) celebrates 25 years providing exceptional power protection service and products.
